Pros: easy to adjust, great value
Cons: light sockets
The opener is excellent except the light sockets. They are made out of plastic. I am constantly burning light bulbs. I even put in the special Sylvania garage door bulbs but they also burn out quickly.

Pros: works well.
Cons: cheap light sockets
Have had this model on all three garage doors for eight years and they work very well, but....there is something seriously wrong with the light sockets in the opener unit. I am using the recommended wattage light bulbs but they only last a month or two. When I replace the bulbs the base of the bulbs look like the contact is burned away and pitted like it is arcing in the socket. I have started using only one light to save money but that hasn't helped and I have used various brands of light bulbs but the problem persists. We have other lights in the garage but it is nice to have the light come on when you come home at night. Too bad; it's a nice opener with cheap light sockets.

Worked great, but failed after 2 yrs.

The logic board failed after 2 years. May have been a surge. I'll put a surge protector on it now, but shouldn't they be included/integral, if they are this necessary? (and the authorized installers like mine should be putting one on).

I never had and electric opener on my garage until I got the Liftmaster 3265 1/2 hp chain drive and I love it. My son-in-laws opener broke and he saw how good mine worked and how quiet it was and he bought one just like mind and he is very happy that he did it.

Pros: quiet and smooth

I bought this opener 4 mounths ago and i love it. It is very quiet and smooth for a chain drive. That's my thought. I love how it has two lights and not 1. It gives more light in the garage which we need because we have a big garage. i am very pleased with this product.

Pros: sturdy, strong, enhanced style, keypad!
Cons: can be a bit noisy.
Replaced my older Lift-Master 1/2 H.P model "1260LM" My garage door guy said that this was the upgrade to my previous unit! It gave me everything that I had before with enhanced style! What's great is when the door is opened, and the light goes out... Anything that passes the sensor turns the light on! The wall panel was given a nice upgrade as well! It's so much easier to reach over to press the BIG square, rather than the long skinny bar that I used to have. Highly recommend! Can be a bit noisy over time though.

We are extremely pleased with this product. We can tell this product was carefully designed to meet the needs of today's consumer. From the the quiet operation of the drive unit, the electronic safety eye, to the ease of installation, this model has it all. From our view, being a grandparent and pet owner, this product gives us a piece of mind that they will not be injured by the door coming down on them. GREAT PRODUCT!!
