We use LiftMaster gate operators almost exclusively. My installation and service teams cringe when they have other products, LiftMaster products have less complicated installations, electronics, and ease of diagnostics makes them the preferred products of Lodi Garage Doors for years.

Great opener system. I do wish the Arms where avaliable in black instead of silver. Most all gates are black and that is the first thing people ask me if it comes in black. Also wish it came with the pin lock standard. I do like that Liftmaster has replaced the plastic mounting end with metal. Lots better. One more thing I would change is make the mounting bracket that welds or bolts to gate thinner not so wide. Over all nice system far better than the GTO I used to sell. I do wish Liftmaster had an online chat area for tech help.

Pros: built in battery backup, built in radio control, homelink compatible, quiet operation, low voltage wiring, limit set feature is excellent
Cons: small control box, arms are not available in black, padlock pin doesn't fit rear of operator
Our customers have been nothing but pleased with the performance of the LA400. It's feature rich control board, stout battery driven design, and Homelink compatibility make it a great choice for single or double swing gates.
